Workshop 16: Developing Media Education around the World - Experiences and Methods

A practical workshop in which media educators will share their experiences of working in different regions. It will be an opportunity for media educators to present their educational and training methods and resources.
Facilitator: Fr Tom Kunnel, SDB
A Salesian of Don Bosco, Fr Tom Kunnel is the Director of Bosco Eastern Africa Multimedia Services (BEAMS) in Kenya which produces radio programmes for Catholic radio stations and audio, video and multimedia products for young people and youth ministers. He has also embarked upon the training of trainers for youth ministry. Since 2004 he has organized training to implement media education and training of graduate film students in film production skills.
