SIGNIS World Congress VJs’ Blog Online!
Chiang Mai, September 16, 2009 – The young team of Video Journalists that will cover the SIGNIS World Congress 2009 in Chiang Mai, Thailand, has just launched its blog! The VJs can now share their views on the Congress and Children’s Rights on http://signisveejay.wordpress.com.
Coming from 6 Asian countries, the Video Journalists have been journeying with each other for the last two months under the guidance of press journalist Nina Chan, video producer Paul Anthony and coordinator Sr. Gertrude Tan. Before meeting in Chiang Mai, the journalists have all produced a one minute video in their country, on the theme of Children’s Rights. The project aims to offer the VJs a unique media training experience which will foster collaboration and team spirit and develop a critical awareness of issues on Children’s and Human Rights.
